Mario Hezonja Joins Cleveland Cavaliers

Mario Hezonja's transfer saga has come to an end. The Croatian small forward now appears as a new Cleveland Cavaliers player on the NBA's transactions page, and Real Madrid has officially announced the end of his time with the club.

The deal is closed after several days of uncertainty surrounding the conflict over his exit clause. The agreement with Cleveland is for one season and $2.8 million, but Real Madrid maintained that the process had not been completed correctly before the deadline.

Finally, both parties have found a solution and Hezonja begins a new chapter in the NBA. The Croatian returns to the United States after six consecutive seasons in Europe and four years at Real Madrid, where he became one of the team's most important players.

The club bid farewell to the player by recalling the six titles won during his time in Madrid: one EuroLeague championship, two league titles, one Copa del Rey, and two Spanish Super Cups.

In Cleveland, he will have a new opportunity to prove that his NBA career still has room to grow. He has already played 330 games in the league with the Orlando Magic, New York Knicks, and Portland Trail Blazers before rebuilding his career in Europe.
