Monbus Obradoiro U22 Team Officially Launches

The team will compete in Group B and begins preseason on August 17 under head coach Martín Guerreiro.

Monbus Obradoiro is launching an exciting new project with the establishment of its U22 team, a strategic investment by the club to strengthen its youth academy and provide continuity for young talent. The Obradoiro squad has been placed in Group B of the first phase of the competition, where it will face top-level rivals including Bilbao Basket, Unicaja Alhaurín de la Torre, Amara Lleida, Kids&Us Manresa, Joventut Badalona, and UCAM Murcia Juver.

Activity for the Santiago-based affiliate will begin the week of August 17 with medical evaluations and the start of on-court training. Demonstrating the club's commitment to player development, several roster members will combine their preparation by participating in preseason with the first team.

Coaching Staff
The bench will be led by Martín Guerreiro, who is entering his sixth season in the club's structure and brings three seasons of experience as a coach in Tercera FEB. He will be assisted by Jesús Montero as assistant coach, in his fourth season with the club and third alongside Guerreiro. Pablo Cereijo will serve as assistant coach and analyst. Strength and conditioning will be handled by Clínica Momentum, with supervision from Adrián González and Ángel Parada as the team's strength coach, while Julio Santiago will oversee physical therapy.
