Brandin Podziemski scored 12 of his 18 points in the final five minutes of the fourth quarter. The point guard finished 7 of 16 from the field, adding 15 rebounds and nine assists. Al Horford made six three-pointers and closed with 22 points and seven assists, while Moses Moody contributed 23 points and seven rebounds and De'Anthony Melton added 20 points for a Warriors team that played without Stephen Curry (knee), Kristaps Porzingis (illness) and Jimmy Butler (right anterior cruciate ligament tear). Draymond Green (back) was ruled out late.

Denver, coming off a 54-point victory over Portland on Friday, failed to take the lead in the first half. Nikola Jokic recorded 25 points, 20 rebounds and 12 assists, his fifth triple-double in seven games, the 19th of the season and the 183rd of his career. Jamal Murray added 21 points, Christian Braun 18 and Bruce Brown 12 for a Nuggets team that had won three of its last five games.

Golden State took control from the start with Horford's outside shooting, who scored two three-pointers and 11 points in the first quarter. Before halftime, the Warriors extended their lead to 76-67, despite Jokic falling one assist short of a triple-double before the break.

In the second half, Denver cut into the deficit, but the home team closed strong. Golden State finished the game on a 19-8 run in the final minutes. Podziemski led that stretch with two three-pointers and an offensive rebound converted into a basket, while Horford added his sixth three-pointer of the night to seal the victory in front of the Chase Center crowd.

With this result, the Golden State Warriors (30-27) snap their losing streak and solidify their position in the West, while the Denver Nuggets (36-22) could not build on their latest victory despite another triple-double from Nikola Jokic.

Golden State returns to competition following an impressive home victory, while Denver will look to regain form in its next matchup.
