Pacheco's Buzzer-Beater Three Gives Leyma Coruña Victory Over Andorra (103-100)

The Coliseum in A Coruña witnessed an unforgettable finish. With the score tied at 100 and the clock winding down, Pedro Jorgensen missed, Caio Pacheco grabbed the offensive rebound and hit a three-pointer at the buzzer. The game featured exceptional three-point shooting, with MoraBanc Andorra making 20 threes as Leyma Coruña secured their second consecutive victory.

An unstoppable Andorra from beyond the arc
Andorra came out firing and, with seven three-pointers in the first quarter, jumped out to a 4-12 lead in the opening minutes, forcing Carles Marco to call a timeout. The first quarter ended 21-29. Coruña responded in the second quarter: they played better defense, took a 40-35 lead midway through the quarter with Verge leading the way, and went into halftime ahead (51-48) after a 30-19 run.

Three straight threes and Iwundu's response
After the break, Leyma Coruña lost their rhythm, and a 0-5 run by Andorra gave them the lead (62-63). Pacheco and Kristers Siliņš, with a 2+1 play, answered back for the Galicians, who entered the fourth quarter up by one (75-74).

In the final quarter, Leyma Coruña strung together three consecutive three-pointers, one from Jorgensen and two from Verge, and took an 88-83 lead with six minutes remaining. Wes Iwundu responded with two straight three-pointers, and from there both teams traded baskets down to the final play, when Pacheco appeared.

Verge finished with 20 points, 10 assists and a rating of 25, while Lukas Uleckas added 11 points, 8 rebounds and a rating of 22. For Andorra, Jalen Akinjo scored 21 points with 7 assists, and Iwundu posted 15 points, 8 rebounds and a game-high rating of 26. Žan Tabak's team shot 20 of 36 from three-point range, but their 18 turnovers proved too costly.
