Rati Andronikashvili Joins MoraBanc Andorra on Temporary Loan

MoraBanc Andorra signs Rati Andronikashvili on a temporary basis to strengthen the point guard position. The Georgian player, 25 years old and 1.94 meters tall, joins the tricolor squad for a two-month period and counts as a development player.

Andronikashvili brings international experience and knowledge of the Liga Endesa, a competition in which he has already played for UCAM Murcia and Casademont Zaragoza. The point guard has also competed in the Primera FEB, where he was part of Monbus Obradoiro during the 2024/25 season. An international with Georgia's senior national team, he has been one of the standout players for the Georgian squad in recent FIBA windows.

Jordi Ardèvol highlights that Andronikashvili arrives "at a moment of maturity, following some excellent recent performances with the Georgian national team". The sporting director describes the new tricolor player as "a quick, explosive point guard with good athleticism and excellent playmaking ability, particularly in creating and distributing". His signing will allow the team to better manage the workload of the current point guards while adding a new dimension to the team's offensive system. "The physical situations of several players and an interesting market opportunity have made possible a signing that was not initially planned," Ardèvol explains.

With this addition, Rati Andronikashvili is now at the disposal of Žan Tabak to strengthen the team's backcourt over the next two months.
