Río Breogán Signs Josep Peris

The Valencia-born point guard is 1.92m tall and 25 years old. Developed through Valencia Basket and Club Bàsquet Llíria's youth programs, Peris made his EBA League debut at just 17 years old. He later solidified his game in LEB Plata, playing for CB Villarrobledo, Alquimisa Carbajosa, and Baloncesto Talavera.

His breakout campaign at CB Zamora (2023-24) culminated in a double achievement with the LEB Silver Cup title and promotion, averaging 10.9 points and forcing overtime in the cup final with a buzzer-beating three-pointer. After playing the following season with CB Sant Antoni, he returned to Zamora to make his Primera FEB debut in the 2025-26 season.

Last season, the shooting guard became a key player for Zamora, averaging 12.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2 assists in just 19 minutes per game. Peris is also an international player in Spain's youth categories and a regular starter for the Spanish men's 3x3 national team.

The Valencia native, who can also play small forward, stands out for his passing ability and ball-handling skills, his shooting range, and his excellent court vision. He arrives at Río Breogán to help the team and continue progressing in the strong trajectory of recent seasons.
