From historic efficiency to unforgettable performances, these five players defined the 2025-26 regular season.
The votes have been cast and the five players who best defined the 2025-26 EuroLeague regular season have been selected for the EuroLeague All-Star Five. Chosen through a combined vote of coaches (35%), team captains (35%), media (20%), and fans (10%), this elite group combines established superstars with young talents who left an indelible mark on the campaign.
Two teammates from Olympiacos Piraeus lead the list after guiding the Reds to the best regular season record in the league, while three honorees making their first All-Star Five selection earned their place through consistency, leadership, and unforgettable individual performances.
Elijah Bryant, Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv
In Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv's historic debut season in the EuroLeague, Elijah Bryant established himself as the team's driving force and one of the league's most reliable players. Playing heavy minutes and shouldering constant responsibility, Bryant finished second in the league in average PIR and recorded double-digit PIR in all but one game. A complete player, Bryant was his team's leading scorer (15.9 points per game), second in rebounds (5.3 rebounds per game), and third in assists (3.4 assists per game). His value was undeniable, as Hapoel failed to win any of the four games he missed due to injury.
Bryant's physical strength and offensive mentality made him one of the league's toughest opponents, drawing nearly five fouls per game and contributing across all statistical categories. He delivered two Player of the Day performances, including a career-high 38 PIR against Baskonia, and finished the season with seven games exceeding 30 PIR. This first All-Star Five selection reflects a season of leadership, resilience, and exceptional impact across all facets.
Sylvain Francisco, Zálgiris Kaunas
Sylvain Francisco completed a breakout season as the engine of Zalgiris Kaunas, earning his first EuroLeague All-Star Five recognition. The dynamic point guard ranked among the league leaders in both scoring (eighth, 16.7 points per game) and assists (third, 6.4 assists per game), combining playmaking with efficient floor direction to keep Zalgiris steady throughout the campaign. Francisco finished tied for first in the league in three-pointers made (103) and led all players with 22 games hitting at least 3 three-pointers.
Francisco, October Player of the Month, shone in crucial moments, including a double-double that earned him Player of the Day honors in Round 7 against Virtus and a stellar 36-point performance in a dramatic double-overtime victory against Olympiacos in Round 29. His combination of shooting range, composure under pressure, and ability to draw fouls made him one of the league's most difficult point guards to contain. This selection caps a season in which Francisco firmly established himself among the EuroLeague elite.
Nikola Milutinov, Olympiacos Piraeus
Nikola Milutinov solidified Olympiacos' interior dominance with a season that set the standard for efficiency and physicality in the paint. The center led the league in rebounds with 7.1 per game, including 3.1 offensive rebounds (the competition's best mark), while also topping the charts in rebounding percentage and scoring 10.6 points per game on 69.2% two-point shooting. His impact extended beyond the numbers, as Milutinov ranked among the league leaders in true shooting percentage (73.8%) and points per possession (1.33), finishing third in PIR with 20.1.
Milutinov's presence was fundamental at both ends of the floor, where his positioning and discipline made it difficult for opponents to score. He recorded five double-doubles, featured in several of the season's best rebounding performances, and drew nearly four fouls per game, exerting constant pressure on opposing defenses. As a key piece of Olympiacos' best regular season, this nomination marks Milutinov's first All-Star Five selection and caps the best campaign of his career.
Jean Montero, Valencia Basket
The EuroLeague's young sensation of 2025-26 continued his meteoric rise by being selected for the first time to the EuroLeague All-Star Five. Jean Montero's combination of scoring creativity, playmaking vision, and defensive activity propelled Valencia to the league's second-best regular season record with 25 wins and 13 losses. Despite his youth, Montero demonstrated veteran-like efficiency, ranking among the league leaders in PIR per minute (30.0 prorated to 40 minutes) and assist-to-turnover ratio (3.6).
Montero rose to the occasion repeatedly, recording multiple steals in 11 games and dishing out at least 8 assists on six occasions. His season's defining moment came in Round 27, when he delivered a memorable night with 29 points and 8 assists, posting a 38 PIR in overtime victory against Hapoel on the road, earning him Player of the Day honors. Fearless, composed, and decisive, Montero established himself as one of the brightest stars and one of the league's most reliable point guards.
Sasha Vezenkov, Olympiacos Piraeus
Sasha Vezenkov, one of the most prominent figures of the modern EuroLeague era, delivered another masterful season that earned him his fourth All-Star Five selection. Vezenkov led the league in PIR with 23.1 and won the Alphonso Ford Trophy as the league's leading scorer with an average of 19.4 points per game, while also helping Olympiacos finish atop the standings with a record of 26 wins and 12 losses.
A model of efficiency and consistency, Vezenkov scored in double figures in all but one of his 34 games and reached at least 20 points on 19 occasions. He also ranked among the league's best rebounders with an average of 6.6 rebounds per game and led the competition with 23 games posting a PIR of 20 or higher. Vezenkov was named January Player of the Month and earned three Player of the Day awards, the most in the league. This fourth First Team All-Star Five selection ties him for second all-time, reinforcing his legacy as one of the most influential small forwards in EuroLeague history.
