The American point guard with Macedonian passport would arrive to play an important role in the reconstruction of the Liga Endesa champion's perimeter, in a summer marked by significant departures on the wings. Encestando had already reported that Valencia had signed both Gonzalo Corbalán and TJ Shorts as part of the planning to cover the departure of Sergio de Larrea to the NBA and the exit of Jean Montero.
Shorts comes from playing for Panathinaikos, where he did not have the expected playing time, but his reputation in Europe remains very high. He previously shone brightly with Paris Basketball, leading the French team during a historic period and establishing himself as one of the most electric point guards on the continent.
