"Next Radar Basketball" launches its new international scouting service to connect elite talent with NCAA programs
Next Radar Basketball (NRB) announces the launch of an innovative international scouting service, designed to connect NCAA programs with the best international prospects: athletes with star potential both on the court and beyond
This new service is built on four fundamental pillars: Tim Shea, Roberto Anidos, Richard Anicet Lavodrama Ondoma, and Richard Dale Mock, professionals with extensive and proven careers in international basketball who combine experience, knowledge, and a truly global vision.
Tim Shea, with more than 50 years in basketball at the highest level, has served as International Scouting Director for NBA franchises such as the New York Knicks, Phoenix Suns, and Charlotte Hornets, in addition to working as a global scout across five continents and as an evaluator in 10 NBA Drafts. His career as a coach includes national teams, top European clubs, and major international events, making him a reference figure in elite talent identification.
Roberto Anidos, an international journalist with more than 15 years of experience covering basketball from inside the court, has been accredited for 15 ACB seasons, 13 EuroLeague Final Fours, 4 EuroBaskets, 2 Olympic Games, and 2 NBA Finals. Founder of the specialized outlet Piratas del Basket and author of three books on basketball history, he contributes a unique analytical and media-driven perspective, reinforced by training in sports psychology, Basket Data Analytics, and Sports Management.
Richard Anicet Lavodrama Ondoma brings more than four decades of experience as a former Olympian, professional player, and international basketball executive. With a background that spans NCAA, ACB, NBA, FIBA leadership roles, and federation management, he has been a pioneer in global basketball development, talent pathways, and international programs across Europe, Africa, and the Americas.
Richard Dale Mock adds over 40 years of global expertise as a coach, scout, and former licensed agent. A key pioneer in international scouting for U.S. basketball, he has evaluated talent in more than 80 countries and served as a primary reference for NCAA and NBA organizations, acting as a crucial bridge between global prospects and elite American basketball pathways.
The NRB proposal goes beyond the mere identification of talent. Its focus is on recognizing future assets: technically gifted players, culturally adaptable, marketable, and ready to maximize their NIL (Name, Image & Likeness) value.
The service’s differential advantages include:
Customized scouting reports that combine skills, mindset, growth projection, and NIL value.
Early access to rising international stars, before any other program.
Strategic NIL analysis, focused on branding, language, media presence, and cultural fit.
With this initiative, Next Radar Basketball strengthens its position as a trusted partner for universities and sports programs seeking a direct pipeline to the next international basketball stars.
""At NRB we believe that talent is not only measured on the court, but also in the ability to generate global impact. Our service offers NCAA programs a unique competitive advantage to identify, attract, and develop players who will become future leaders,"" said Tim Shea and Roberto Anidos, co-founders of Next Radar Basketball.
