ACB: MoraBanc Andorra Survives Relegation Battle with Dominant Win at Lleida (88-116)

LLEIDA. MoraBanc Andorra will reach the final day of the Liga Endesa with life after delivering a commanding performance at Barris Nord, overwhelming Hiopos Lleida 88-116 in a game dominated by three-point shooting and offensive pace. Kyle Kuric led the visiting team's display with 28 points and a devastating performance from beyond the arc.

The Principality team faced the match with a must-win situation and responded with one of their most solid performances of the season. After an uncomfortable start, marked by the energy of a Lleida team freed from pressure after securing survival, Andorra quickly found their rhythm from three-point range and never relinquished control of the game.

The Lleida squad started better, punishing in transition and taking advantage of visiting defensive lapses to open early leads. However, the picture changed completely when Andorra began to run and move the ball with pace.

Rice, Kuric and McKoy began to punish from outside and the game transformed into an exchange of three-pointers clearly favoring the visiting team.
The MoraBanc's offensive confidence grew as the minutes passed.

Every possession found open shots and the three-point percentage began to definitively break apart the game. Kuric caught fire before halftime and turned the home defense into a constant problem. The veteran shooter punished from the perimeter time and again and led the visitors' escape to a lead exceeding twenty points before the break.

Hiopos Lleida tried to react after halftime, but never found continuity. Gerard Encuentra moved his bench looking for energy and defensive solutions, although the game was already completely tilted toward the Andorran side. Rafa Luz controlled the pace, McKoy provided physical presence and Kuric continued to punish mercilessly every defensive breakdown.

The third quarter finished sealing the game. Andorra kept their foot on the accelerator, continued scoring with enormous ease and entered the final period with the game completely decided. The margin kept growing until surpassing the hundred-point barrier with several minutes remaining.

With this victory and taking advantage of Casademont Zaragoza's loss, MoraBanc Andorra escapes the relegation zone before the final day of the regular season. Hiopos Lleida, already mathematically safe, delivered one of their weakest performances in the final stretch of the season.
