ACB: Río Breogán Signs Jordan Walker Through End of Season

Río Breogán has reached an agreement with Jordan Walker to sign the American point guard through the end of the current season, a move prompted by DeWayne Russell's injury.

Walker, 28 years old and 1.85 meters tall, can play both point guard and shooting guard. He arrives from Hefei Kuangfeng of the Chinese league, where he landed after finishing his stint with HLA Alicante last December.

Before heading to Asia, the player posted solid numbers in Primera FEB with the Alicante squad: 16.8 points, 3 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game, plus a 44.3% three-point shooting percentage.

His adaptation to Spanish basketball will not be new, as in the 2024/25 season he also played in Zamora, also in Primera FEB, where he averaged 14.7 points per game.

The move allows the Lugo-based team to temporarily cover Russell's absence due to a minor left soleus tear. Walker adds another perimeter option for head coach Luis Casimiro in the final stretch of the season.
