Cameron McGriff Joins MoraBanc Andorra to Bring Physicality and Versatility

The American power forward will strengthen the interior game of the Andorran squad in his first experience in the Liga Endesa

MoraBanc Andorra's roster continues to take shape with the arrival of Cameron McGriff. The 28-year-old American power forward, standing 2.01 meters tall, has signed a one-year deal and will face the challenge of making his Liga Endesa debut with the tricolor squad.

Trained at Oklahoma State University, McGriff has accumulated experience in both American basketball and Europe. Throughout his career, he has played for Belgian side Okapi Aalst, Greek club AEK Athens, with whom he competed in the Basketball Champions League, and French team Le Mans, a trajectory he has combined with several stints in the NBA G League and a brief spell with the Portland Trail Blazers. A power forward with the ability to stretch the floor thanks to his outside shot, he also stands out for his intensity, physicality, and versatility on both sides of the court.

MoraBanc Andorra's sports director, Jordi Ardèvol, commented on the signing: "Cameron McGriff is a power forward who will bring us outside shooting, defensive ability, and presence on the boards. He is an extremely competitive player, a quality that all the references we received have highlighted. Additionally, in recent years his game has evolved and this versatility will give us many options on both offense and defense".

McGriff is the sixth confirmed signing for the upcoming season after Owen Aquino, Lazar Mutic, Kassius Robertson, James Akinjo, and Wes Iwundu, and will strengthen the tricolor interior game thanks to his athletic and versatile profile, bringing energy, solidity, and competitiveness to a roster that continues to take shape for a new season in the Liga Endesa.
