Townes has been one of the most decisive pieces for Oviedo during the season. His impact was constant, both in scoring and playmaking, closing out the campaign with impressive numbers: 16.2 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game.
His arrival would represent an important reinforcement for the Madrid-based team's perimeter. Estudiantes would be adding a player with scoring touch, one-on-one ability and recent experience in Primera FEB where he has been one of the standout names of the season.
