Miles Norris Leaves Barcelona, Signs with Bayern Munich

Miles Norris is making a move in the EuroLeague. The American power forward has signed a two-year deal with Bayern Munich, where he'll look to take a step forward after his first year in Europe with Barcelona.

Norris, 26 years old and 6'8", arrived at the Blaugrana squad last season and played a rotational role. In EuroLeague, he appeared in 34 games, averaging 3.3 points and 1.9 rebounds, while in the Liga Endesa he increased his production to 6.8 points and 3.6 rebounds, shooting 37.5% from three-point range.

Bayern is bringing in a very specific profile: physical, energetic, capable of running the floor, and a floor-spacing threat from the power forward position. Norris can space the floor, finish above the rim, and bring dynamism to a roster seeking more speed and versatility.

The player himself has highlighted his desire to continue growing in his second year in Europe. In Munich, he hopes to have a greater opportunity to showcase his three-point shot, his athleticism, and that energy that made him an interesting prospect before arriving at Barcelona.

Before landing in Europe, Norris spent time in the G League, where he had a strong 2024/25 season with Memphis Hustle: 17.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 38.6% from three-point range. He also appeared in three NBA games with the Boston Celtics.

For Bayern, his signing makes sense as a growth investment. He doesn't arrive as a star, but as a player with room to develop, modern athleticism, and the tools to fit into today's basketball. If he gains confidence and consistency, he could be a useful piece for spacing the floor and raising the team's physical level.
