NBA Night: Twelve Games and Three Thrilling Finishes

Friday was the longest night of the NBA's first week, with twelve games, and the tightest finishes. There was a decisive block in the final second, two victories by three points or fewer, and a dominant performance by Jayson Tatum against the defending champions. For Spanish players, it was a quiet night: Hugo González played 3.5 minutes with the Celtics with one assist, and Sergio de Larrea barely one minute in the Mavericks' victory. Alperen Şengün led all scorers with 29 points, eight of them consecutive in the fourth quarter, and Kevin Durant, in his return to his college town, added 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.
