Olympiacos Rejects $1 Million and Justin Anderson for Thomas Walkup

Olympiacos stands firm on Thomas Walkup. The Greek club reportedly rejected a new and significant proposal from Dubai Basketball to acquire the point guard ahead of the upcoming season.

According to Matteo Andreani, Dubai put $1 million and Justin Anderson on the table to try to convince Olympiacos, but the Piraeus club's response was negative once again.

Dubai's interest in Walkup is not new and has persisted in recent weeks. Olympiacos, however, continues to resist parting with a player who has a contract through the summer of 2027 and remains part of their plans.

The inclusion of Justin Anderson in the deal significantly increases the value of the proposal. The American small forward, with previous experience at Río Breogán, Valencia Basket, and Barcelona, played for Dubai Basketball last season.

For now, Olympiacos closes the door again, though the persistence of the Emirates club keeps one of the EuroLeague market's key moves in play.
