Olympiacos Interested in Jalen Wilson, Former Brooklyn Nets Forward

Olympiacos is making moves in the international market and has set its sights on Jalen Wilson, an American small forward who is currently a free agent following his stint with the Brooklyn Nets. According to Matteo Andreani, the Greek club is very interested and would be prepared to present an offer.

The player's priority for now would still be the NBA, but his future is not closed. Wilson finds himself at that point in the market where he must decide between waiting for a new opportunity in the United States or opening a first chapter in the EuroLeague.

The small forward, selected by Brooklyn in the second round of the 2023 Draft, played 54 games with the Nets last season, averaging 15.9 minutes per game. The franchise did not present a qualifying offer for him, so he became an unrestricted free agent.

Wilson is an interesting profile for Europe: he has the size to play small forward, rebounding ability, solid training from Kansas, and room to grow as a perimeter scorer. In his final NCAA season, he had already shown his potential, with 20.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game.

For Olympiacos, his arrival would mean bringing in a young, physical forward with upside, although the move will depend on whether the player decides to close the door on the NBA this summer.
