Río Breogán secured its second consecutive road victory on Saturday, defeating Covirán Granada convincingly 64-83 at the Palacio de los Deportes in Granada. The loss extends Covirán Granada's winless streak to twelve consecutive defeats, keeping them in last place in the Liga Endesa. The game was closely contested in the first quarter before the visitors took clear control in the second half.

Both teams started hot offensively in an evenly matched opening (11-12, 5:00) that saw the hosts hold a slight advantage at the end of the first quarter (19-17) thanks to free throws and rebounding dominance.

Río Breogán started the second quarter stronger with contributions from Francis Alonso (19-24, 12:00 after a 0-7 run), but Covirán Granada responded with an impressive stretch from French forward Mehdy Ngouama (33-32, 19:00 following a 9-2 run) to take a 36-34 halftime lead.

Everything changed in the second half as the Galician side came out determined to put the game away against an inconsistent Covirán Granada, plagued by turnovers (39-51, 25:00 after a 3-17 run featuring eight straight points from American Dewayne Russell).

The game appeared decided heading into the fourth quarter (46-60), but the Andalusian side refused to quit, taking advantage of visiting complacency to climb back into the contest thanks to Dominican forward Jassel Pérez's intensity (57-62, 34:00 after an 11-0 run).

Luis Casimiro's team responded with a 2-7 burst (57-69, 36:00) to seal the victory amid boos from the home crowd directed at their team's season.
