jul 14 2026Fenerbahce has announced the return of Sertac Sanli, who signs a one-year deal and will reinforce the Turkish club's interior game.
The 34-year-old center, standing 2.12 meters tall, arrives after a 2025/26 season split between Dubai Basketball and Besiktas. In EuroLeague play with Dubai, he averaged 2.4 points and 1 rebound in seven games. He finished the season with Besiktas, where he helped the team reach the finals of the Turkish league and the EuroCup.
Sanli knows what it takes to win with Fenerbahce. In his first stint, he was part of the EuroLeague championship team in 2025, averaging 5.5 points and 2.4 rebounds in 33 games. He was also a European champion with Anadolu Efes in 2021, becoming one of the few players capable of winning the EuroLeague with both of Istanbul's major clubs.
For Fenerbahce, his return is not a marquee signing, but rather a useful rotation piece. Experience, size, and knowledge of the competition to complete a frontcourt that needed depth.
Sanli will begin a new chapter with a team that is once again aiming high and continues adding competitive veterans to compete for everything.
