According to Sports Illustrated, Brad Stevens would be monitoring the situation in case Golden State Warriors ever opens the door to a departure of their great icon.

For now, it's important to measure the scope of this matter carefully. There is no advanced negotiation nor clear signs that Curry wants to leave San Francisco. What exists is a market idea: Boston would inquire if the Warriors ever change their stance.

The simple mention of both names already carries historical weight.
