jul 23 2026Partizan continues rebuilding its roster and has announced the signing of Lamar Stevens for the next two seasons. The American small forward arrives from Paris Basketball, where he played his first season in Europe.
Stevens, 29 years old and 2.01 meters tall, landed in European basketball last summer after five seasons in the NBA. His start to the season was hampered by an injury that caused him to miss the first two months, but he gradually gained more playing time in the Paris rotation.
In the EuroLeague, he appeared in 23 games, mostly coming off the bench, averaging 9.3 points and 3.3 rebounds in 20 minutes per game. Additionally, he posted an important stat for his profile: 41.7% three-point shooting, a valuable outside threat for a physical player with the ability to attack the rim.
In the French league, he also maintained solid production, with 9.9 points and 3.5 rebounds, helping Paris Basketball reach the playoff finals.
Before making the jump to Europe, Stevens accumulated 224 NBA games between the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, and Memphis Grizzlies, averaging 5.6 points and 2.9 rebounds. He also spent time in the G League with Motor City Cruise.
His arrival strengthens Partizan's perimeter with an intense, strong player who has NBA experience and is already adapted to the EuroLeague pace. The Serbian club thus adds another important piece after signing Kevarrius Hayes and renewing captain Vanja Marinkovic.
