Early three-point shooting gave Elan Chalon an initial advantage against an erratic Unicaja in the opening minutes (2-6). Gradually, the home team found their footing, with Djedovic and a three-pointer from Perry putting them ahead (8-6). The momentum carried the Málaga side forward, extending their lead through an accurate Barreiro (19-14). The French squad stayed competitive, with their outside shooters keeping it close at 19-18. A free throw from Rubit sealed the first quarter at 20-18.

At the start of the second quarter, Justin Cobbs, making his debut tonight at the Carpena, scored his first two points in a Unicaja uniform to extend the lead (22-18). Leray's 2+1 and a Hill suspension brought the visitors back into contention, but Unicaja answered with a Kalinoski three-pointer and a steal-and-dunk from Audige to give the team momentum (29-23). The game intensified, but Unicaja continued to capitalize, scoring from personal fouls (31-25). A 0-9 run with strong minutes from Tonnellier gave Elan Chalon the lead (31-34), a streak broken by Perry in the paint. Offenses dominated defenses, with Djedovic and Tonnellier as offensive anchors for their respective teams, giving Unicaja new energy (40-36). Scoring continued to flow, with tense exchanges in which Webb III capitalized for a 51-45 halftime lead.

Five consecutive points from Perry opened the third quarter, pushing the lead into double figures for the first time in the game (56-45). Three-pointers from Barreiro and Sulejmanovic propelled the team against a stifled Elan Chalon where only Golden managed to score (62-47). Unicaja found their offensive rhythm, dominating the French side in attack (68-51). A Mutts three-pointer halted the local run, but Málaga's offense continued to produce, surpassing the 20-point mark with a Kalinoski three-pointer (75-54). Djedovic controlled every aspect of the game, maintaining the lead (80-57), though a 0-6 run tightened the scoreboard at the end of the third quarter (80-63).

Elan Chalon clung to Hill to continue closing the gap, but Ibon Navarro's team responded through Rubit (84-66). With Hill as the only reliable visiting scorer, Unicaja relied on Tyson Pérez and Balcerowski to surpass the 20-point mark (94-71).
